The Under 13s hosted Slab Road at Ranelagh on Wednesday night, but fell 20 runs short in a good contest.
Slab Road batted first, and scored 5-106. Lucas Sullivan, Joe Murray and Lochie Cordwell each took a wicket for the home side, and Broughton Chapman took 2 in an even bowling performance from the group.
In reply, the young Warriors couldn’t quite chase down the runs. Brady Harriss, Ollie Coulson and Anthony Harrisson all retired, but the pick of the batters was Chaz Bell with 11 retired.
The group now breaks for Christmas, with training resuming on Monday January 8 at Ranelagh.
