The 2017-18 Under 15 side hosted Southern Tigers at Glen Huon on Friday night in the new 9 a side format.
Baydon Armstrong and Will Quarrier took the new ball, and both took a wicket to have the Tigers 2-28.
The bowling change to bring in Daniel Pratridge and Jonny Thorpe saw them carve through the middle order, Partridge taking a quick 3-16 from 4 overs, while Jonny took 2-14. A wicket to Jayden Richards, and the young Tigers had been bowled out for 69 inside 15 overs.
Richards and Partridge duly strode to the centre to start the run chase. Partridge left not long after for a quick 3, but Quarrier and Richards were able to cruise to the total in just 9 overs, and seal a first up win for the side. Richards finished not out on 12, and Quarrier not out 26.
