With C1 Grade having the bye this week, C2 carried the flag on Sunday, with Troy Geeves having the chance to play in the same side as his 3 boys for the first time.
Batting first, C2 were able to post 6-216 from their 50 overs, with Aiden Geeves leading the way with a top score of 60. Troy was able to chip in with 35 not out, whilst Tim Thorpe with 29 and George Parremore with 27 also contributed.
In reply, C1 were able to restrict Huonville to 6-199 from their overs, with all bowlers bowling well, and registering a first up win for C2.
B Grade played the strong Blackmans Bay, and some late Innings runs from Riley Anning and Codie Rawnsley helped push the score up to 9-168, whilst Jamie Mullins and Phil Bell both got starts at the top of the order.
In reply, wickets proved hard to come by, but the bowlers toiled hard to take 3 and push Blackmans Bay to the 42nd over before the total was past.
A Grade had a day to forget, with the only highlight being the 4 wickets to Kieran Wright.
With the Huon Show this week, training will now move to Glen Huon both nights this week.
The T20 side will be back in action, with a week off for 50 over cricket, and will see them play Blackmans Bay at Sherburd at 9:00am on Saturday in the Semi Final.
The normal 50 over roster will resume the following week.
