North Huon Yellow put in a much improved performance against Kingborough White on Monday night.
Bowling first, the side were strong in the field and, more importantly, bowled a lot straighter, improving on the wide count from last week.
Max Kull took two wickets in his best bowling performance to date, Joey Cartridge only went for five runs from his two overs before swapping to the gloves, whilst Jack Batchelor also had his best spell of bowling, taking 1-18 from four overs.
While he didn’t bag a wicket, Lucas Raine’s leg spin continued to cause problems for the batters.
The Warriors’ batting was much better this week – whilst the lads still lost a few wickets, they were able to find the boundary consistently.
Opening the batting, Jack and Zach Darke both scored 16, which Joey equalled later in the innings.
Alex Leaman batted solidly for 15, and Max Kull 14 in a well rounded batting effort, the side finishing with 8-96
Warrior of the week was Jack Batchelor (pictured), with his top score in batting, and best bowling for the year.
