The North Huon Cricket Club Under 14 Girls side headed out to Kettering tonight (Tuesday) to play in their first game, a very exciting moment for the club.
Batting first, the girls posted 7-67, with all the girls contributing, Amity Stanway stop scoring with 16, whilst both Amity and Shania went through without being dismissed.
In reply, opening bowler Maddie Chapman got the side of to the best side possible, getting a wicket on here first ball of the innings, and followed up with another in that over. All bowlers bowled well for their first game, Maddie finishing with 3-18, Tarsha Ford 2-7, Shania 1-12, and Maya Bligh 1-22, and Stanway and Mollie Whiteway also bowled well.
The side will train again Saturdays at 11:30am at the Ranelagh nets, and next Tuesday have a home game at Ranelagh against University.
