The under 15 girls really got into the swing of things for their second game of year.
Traveling up to Olgilvie to take on CTPL club New Town, the girls took early wickets in a much improved performance to restrict New Town to 5-114 from their 20 overs.
Shayla Terry, Gracie Ashlin and Abby Joe Delany were all wicket takers, with Shayla also getting a run out.
In reply, the side set off about chasing down the target.
Shayla top score with 20, but handy knocks of 16 from Ruby Wilson, 15 from Grace Fahey, and 12 from Demi Batchelder saw the game go right down to the line, New Town running out close victors by just 7 runs.
A huge improvement to the girls in just their second game, and a great result for Grace Lovell and Kim Steel looking after the side.
