The Under 13s hosted Southern Tigers in a high scoring game on Wednesday.
Jaxon Thorpe with 2-1 and Chaz Bell with 2-11 were the pick of the bowlers, with Lucas Sullivan, Joe Murray, Dylan Parremore and Ryan Parremore all capturing 1 wicket. A solid batting effort from the Tigers saw them post a total of 171 however.
In reply, Jaxon Thorpe again got the side off a great start with 19, and Lucas Sullivan with 23 not out, and Ryan Parremore with 11 not battled bravely but the total was just too large, but a great performance saw the side finish on 8-125.
The Under 15s also took on the Southern Tigers, and were soon in trouble against some great swing bowling, before Jaxon Thorpe (same one!) teamed with Jayden Richards to build a partnership through the middle overs.
Jaxon finished with 16, and Jayden 19 and some late hitting from Calym Dargan saw North Huon post 114.
The Tigers openers took after the target with glee, swinging the willow with an aim to finish early. That it did, but it was the introduction of Jayden Richards to the attack saw the game turn on its head.
In a remarkable spell, Richards captured 5-2 from just 15 balls, with only 1 delivery going for runs.
Jaxon, Sam Kile and Jakeb Shelverton each took a wicket to see the Tigers bowled out for 78 and record a great win for the Under 15s.
