Congratulations under 13 Warriors who won their grand final against Kettering last night!
After being sent in to bat it was a tough start, with the boys 4-35 after 5 overs. Seb and our loanees from the Kingborough Knights helped steady the ship, with Josh top-scoring not out 41. The tail batted solidly, and the Warriors ended their innings 5/144.
Lochie opened the bowling and picked up a wicket in his miserly spell of 1-4. Our depth in bowling showed, and Finn, Charlie and Seb all picked up wickets while Xavier nabbed two with his offies. Excellent fielding helped the Warriors restrict Kettering to 6-126 off their 20 overs.
It was a fun night, with players from both sides having a laugh while enjoying a tough contest. Thanks everyone who helped throughout the season, and we hope to see you again next summer!
